My Hometown!

I am from a place that everyone at this school has heard of, Salt Lake City! Or at least thats what I tell people. I am actually from the township of East Mill Creek. No one has heard of it, so I stick to just saying Salt Lake. It is on the South East side of Salt Lake. It right out side of the city Holladay. Maybe you have heard of it, maybe you haven't. My town is the best town because it has great schools, people, location, and everything else that makes a great town.
Lets discuss the Schools in My town. Did anyone ever hear of Wasatch. If you have heard of it, you are probably thinking isn't that the school that burned down. Well yes it is the Junior High that burned down one summer, but what alot of people don't know is they were ranked number one in the state for academics. We might not have been amazing at sports, but we didn't need to be. The other junior high in the area was able to make our high school one of the best atheltic schools. Skyline! It had alot going for it. It was amazing in everthing it did. We had our ups and downs, but overall we were a well rounded school.
The location of my town is prime location. It is just far away from the city that you don't have to deal with all the noise or the crowds and the traffic, but it is close enough to Salt Lake that you can be there in fifteen minutes for shopping or the Jazz games. Thats another thing we have an NBA team that is doing way good lately.
Alot of people say that growing up in Utah can be very difficult. That there are too many mormons and that it can be difficult to keep your standards if people of your faith aren't keeping there own standards, but you just need to find the right group to hang out with. I never had the temptations to do what was wrong.
Everyone should Live in Utah.
